THE STARTING POINT
Start with a conversation.
We talk through the idea and the footage available, then decide whether the project is a fit. You don’t need a finished brief to inquire.
Bring references or questions if you have them.
03 / EARNED FRAMES
Five steps, one direct working relationship. Here’s what happens from the first conversation to the files you receive.
THE STARTING POINT
We talk through the idea and the footage available, then decide whether the project is a fit. You don’t need a finished brief to inquire.
Bring references or questions if you have them.
BEFORE ANY WORK BEGINS
We define the deliverables, formats, revisions, timing, and price in a written scope. Any filming, travel, and payment terms are included. You decide whether to move forward.
Review the scope and ask about anything that isn’t clear.
Written down. Agreed together.
THE MATERIAL COMES TOGETHER
Once the project is agreed, we arrange a file transfer or plan the shoot. We review the material and confirm the working schedule before editing begins.
Share the agreed footage and any context we should know.
WHERE THE FILM TAKES SHAPE
You receive a preview and share consolidated feedback. We refine the edit within the agreed revision allowance; changes beyond that scope are discussed before extra work starts.
Be specific about what should change—and what should stay.
“Hold this moment a little longer before the next cut.”
READY FOR ITS AUDIENCE
After final approval and the agreed payment steps, you receive the finished files and versions. The proposal also explains how long project files will be retained.
Download your files and keep a backup.
THE PRACTICAL DETAILS
Yes, phone footage can be useful. Quality, lighting, framing, and audio affect the result, so we review the material before agreeing what can be delivered.
No. You can share references, explain the feeling you’re after, or talk through the purpose of the film. An energetic promotional cut and a quieter story are both options.
It depends on the footage, filming, scope, and review schedule. A delivery date is agreed for your project rather than promised before those details are known.
Coverage is scoped case by case. Earned Frames is a solo operation, so simultaneous matches, multiple areas, and large productions need an honest discussion about what can be covered.
We agree on the intended use and suitable music for the project. You’ll need permission to share and use supplied footage. Appearing in a clip does not necessarily mean you own it.
We’ll ask separately before sharing your project publicly. Sending an inquiry or booking an edit does not automatically grant portfolio permission.
